Abstract
|

|
This study was carried out to investigate the cytotoxicity against brain cancer, melanoma, ovarian and colon cancer cell lines, and to clarify the side effect of chelidonium majus L. extract on peritoneal macrophages.
The results were as follows.
1. ED_50 of Chelidonium majus L. extract on 9L(brain cancer cell line) showed between 25㎍ and 12.5㎍ and cytotoxicity(%) of chelidonium majus L. extract showed 30% in dose range from 12.5㎛ to 0.8㎛.
2. ED_50 of Chelidonium majus L. extract on BL6(melanoma cell line) showed 25㎍ and 12.5㎍ and cytotoxicity(%) of chelidonium majus L. extract showed 30% in dose range from 12.5㎍ to 0.8㎍.
3. ED_50 Chelidonium majus L. extract on SKOV3(ovarian cancer cell line) and COLO(colon cancer cell line) could not observed.
4. ED_50 of Chelidonium majus L. extract on peritoneal macrophages showed between 6.2㎍ and 3.1㎍ and 20-30% of cytotoxicity(%) showed in dose range from 3.1㎍ to 0.1㎍.
